Interactive artist Erin Berger and musical group “PURE” partnered up to create an interactive musical and visual art display named “The Heart Chamber Orchestra.” Twelve musicians attached electrocardiograms to monitor their heart beats. Then a computer reads their heartbeats to generate a musical score in real time. The musical then plays this score and the computer takes the audio to create a visual light show. I think that this interactive art piece is extremely unique with its use of technology. It uses the computer's ability to create audio and visual displays in real time to create a completely new piece of work every time they play. I also like how they combine anatomy and STEM with art. With the visual and auditory stimulation the installment is truly an immersive experience.
