Hello World! Processing

Processing is an amazing tool for someone new to coding. It allows anyone that is interested to get started with using coding in a creative way. Processing can be used as a digital sketchbook to get ideas or to experiment with coding. Many times when using processing people will start with a simple idea and then be able to make it into something more. The nice part about it that makes it different from a paper sketchbook is you can take those ideas and develop it further, mess around with it and combine ideas to make something completely different. With data becoming easier and easier to access it has allowed more people the ability to experiment and get creative with code to make different graphics, charts and graphs. Processing allows the artist to save time because once you but the code in the computer can create the design instantly compared to when you are creating something by hand it is more involved and time consuming.
